EC/S1:  Straw blanket with photodegradable netting on the upper surface only.  For use on 4:1 – 3:1 slopes with moderate run off conditions.  Ideal for interim erosion control.  These blankets are available in 7.5’ x 120’ (100sy) rolls. Specification Sheet.

EC/S2:  Straw blanket with photodegradable netting on both sides.  For use on 3:1 – 2:1 slopes with medium run off conditions.  Netting on both sides provides additional strength.  For interim erosion control projects on more difficult sites.  Also available with 100% biodegradable netting (see Bio-net).  These blankets are available in 7.5’ x 120’ (100sy) rolls.  Specification Sheet.

EC/SC2:  70% straw and 30% coir blanket with photodegradable netting on both sides.  For use on 2:1 – 1:1 slopes with heavy run off conditions.  The addition of coir fiber provides greater durability.  Ideal for longer term erosion control on steep slopes and side slopes of channels.  Also available with 100% biodegradable netting (see Bio-Net).  These blankets are available in 7.5’ x 120’ (100sy) rolls.  Specification Sheet.

EC/C2:  100% coir blanket with photodegradable netting on both sides.  For use on extreme slopes (up to 1.5:1), streambanks, and as a channel liner for streams with high velocity intermittent flows.  The 100% coir fiber provides maximum durability.  Also available with 100% biodegradable netting (see Bio-net).  These blankets are available in 7.5’ x 120’ (100sy) rolls. Specification Sheet.

BIO-NET:  EC/S2, EC/SC2, and EC/C2 blankets are also available with 100% biodegradable netting on both sides, for use on environmentally sensitive areas.  Please note that these blankets are not as strong or durable as comparable blankets with photodegradable netting.  These blankets are available in 7.5’x 120’ (100sy) rolls. S2B Spec Sheet.  SC2B Spec Sheet.  C2B Spec Sheet.

JUTE MESH: 100% organic, low strength, woven erosion control grids.  Similar in appearance to coir mats, but much weaker and shorter lived.  Ideal as a low cost, short term erosion control product for gentle slopes. Jute Mesh is available in 4’ x 225’ rolls.  Specification Sheet.

EC/P2:   Permanent erosion control blanket made with 100% green polypropylene fiber with black polypropylene netting on both sides.  Highly suited for use in drainage channels, extreme slopes, and other high-flow areas for the establishment of permanent turf reinforcement for up to 36 months.  These blankets are available in 7.5’ x 120’ (100sy) rolls. Specification Sheet.

COIR MATS 400, 700, 900:  100% organic, long-lived, high strength woven coconut grids.  These versatile mats are particularly effective on environmentally sensitive sites where high strength and durability are required.  Coir Mat 400 has a loose weave with a weight of 400 grams per m2, Coir Mat 700 has a medium weave and weighs 700 grams per m2 and Coir Mat 900 has a tight weave and weighs 900 grams per m2.  Coir Mats are available in 6.6’ x 165’ (120sy) rolls.  Wider rolls may be available upon request.  400 Spec Sheet.  700 Spec Sheet.  900 Spec Sheet.

GOOSE NETTING:  Polypropylene goose exclusion fencing, available 42” in height with an aperture size of 1.0” x .75”.   It is critical to install a double line of netting to completely prohibit geese from entering the planting site from either land or water.  Specification Sheet.

SILT FENCE w/DRAWSTRING:  A woven fabric of 100% polypropylene slit film yarns designed primarily for sediment control.  Our silt fence has a drawstring at top and is reinforced at each stake with ¾” strip of lath backing secured with ¼” staples.  Rolls are 36”x100’ with 2”x2”x48” nominal oak posts on 7.7’ centers.  Specification Sheet.

TUBEX®Tubex Standard Tree and Shrub shelters provide a micro-climate for trees and shrubs which results in better initial establishment and higher survival rates. The Tubex Standard Tree Shelter also provides complete protection against animals including rabbits, and deer and herbicides in a way that is flexible, efficient and cost effective. We stock both the 5 foot Tree Shelter and the 30 inch Shrub Shelters and their stakes.

FLEXTERRA™: A mechanically bonded fiber matrix (MBFM) designed for hydroseeding severe sites where the use of erosion control blankets is impractical or too expensive.  Flexterra™ has been university tested and proven to control erosion immediately after application.  No cure time is required!

FILTREXX® SILTSOXX™Filtrexx Siltsoxx are a proven green technology that can be used in place of silt fence and hay bales.  They are manufactured with locally generated compost and an American made mesh containment system.  Available in 8” x 160’ and 12” x 100’.  Specification Sheet.

COIR LOGS:   Coir Logs are 12” x 12’, 16” x 12’ or 20” x 12’ tubes of coconut fiber that are used to stabilize eroding shorelines and streambanks.  Generally, herbaceous plants are inserted into the coir fiber and the log provides a secure growing medium enabling the plants to become established.  Our Standard logs are the “standard” of the industry and are recommended for low energy sites such as ponds and swales.  Our Premium logs are the denser and are recommended for higher energy sites such as lakes, bayshores and streambanks.  Specification Sheet.

COIR WATTLES:  These wattles are 6” x 12’ machine fabricated cylinders consisting of 100% coconut fiber encased in a high tensile machine spun bristle coconut coir fiber twine.  Coirwattles come with a protective burlap wrapping.  Small in diameter and versatile, coirwattles can be used on slopes, wrapped around culverts, replace straw bales and silt fencing, just to name a few!  They slow the flow of water to reduce erosion and slow the run off by interrupting the length of the slope.  Specification Sheet.

STRAW WATTLES:  These wattles are 9”x20’ tubes of weed free rice straw contained in a photo-degradable netting.  The wattles are a sediment control device and can be used as a cost effective alternative to silt fence and straw bales on steep slopes, swales and around storm-water inlets.  Straw Wattles are a proven best management practice for the reduction of down stream sediment.  Specification Sheet.

ACCESSORIES:  Hardwood stakes are available for use with coir logs, and wattles and come in various sizes with 2”x2”x36” and 2”x2”x48”  being the most popular for coir logs and 1”x1”x24” for wattles.  6” staples for use with most blankets are 11 gauge, uncoated wire.  8” staples for use with coir mats are 11 gauge, galvanized wire.
