Description
Herb of marshes and shallow ponds with basal, egg-shaped leaves and open, branched inflorescence. Small white flowers bloom in June, but tend to be short-lived. The nectar produced in the flowers attracts flies, which are the primary pollinator of this plant. Prefers shallow water, but can grow in up to 18 of water. Performs best in full sun conditions. Has the potential to become invasive in perfect growing conditions.
