302: Low Grow Mix For Wet Sites

The wet-site companion to our standard low-grow mix, built for areas that collect water while still keeping the overall planting height modest.

Mix Overview

This blend swaps in wetland-tolerant forbs and grasses suited to consistently damp or seasonally ponding ground, keeping the mature planting under five feet while providing the same low-maintenance, pollinator-friendly character as its dry-site counterpart.

Application

• Low-maintenance meadow plantings on wet or seasonally saturated sites
• Foreground plantings in front of taller wet-meadow or wetland grass mixes
• Areas that collect runoff or standing water where a restrained planting height is preferred
• Residential and commercial landscape areas with poor drainage

Growing Conditions / Specification Data

• Light: Full Sun to Part Shade
• Site Conditions: Wet to seasonally saturated soils; areas that collect water
• Mix Type: Low-growing native wildflower and grass blend for wet sites (under 5 ft.)

Planting Guidance

Best seeded into a prepared, weed-free seedbed in spring or late fall on sites that stay consistently moist. Light raking or rolling after seeding improves soil-to-seed contact.
