Size

A genuine microclimate tool, not just a barrier - the twin-walled construction and proprietary sunlight package create a greenhouse effect that measurably accelerates seedling growth while the perforated venting keeps CO2 replenished and dormancy timing correct, with a self-bursting perf-line that lets the tube fail gracefully as the trunk outgrows it rather than girdling the tree.

Species Overview

The SunFlex Greenhouse Grow Tube (Jack-Rabbit Shield, 35 in. tall) is a rigid, twin-walled greenhouse-effect tree shelter made in the USA from an environmentally sensitive polyethylene blend. Its 900mm / 35.4 in. height and 3.9 in. outer diameter are sized specifically to protect young trees against browsing by large jackrabbits, hares, and larger rodents, while its proprietary sunlight package promotes efficient light diffusion and vigorous early growth across a wide range of light conditions.

  • Creates a greenhouse microclimate that accelerates early growth
  • 10-pack - tube only, does not include a support stake
